Pharmacobiological Chemist

Arturo Cardoso Sámano completed the Pharmacobiological Chemist degree at UNAM. He worked in the Mexican Industrial Property Institute, where he took different courses in Intellectual Property, such as a Regional Seminar on Intellectual Property for Latin American Countries (WIMO, EPO and OEPM); the First Regional Seminar on Industrial Property and Competition Defense (OEPM), a Patentability Criteria Seminar, Search and Exam of Patents for IberoAmerican authorities, etc.

In addition, he developed the Pharmaceutical Patents Industrial Property Gazette. Was appointed representative of the IMPI to the Committee on new molecules of the COFEPRIS, responsible for carrying out consultations with COFEPRIS. He served as an expert in different cases submitted to the Administrative Authorities. He worked as a departmental engineer in a different IP Law firm. He is a member of the Mexican Association for Industrial Property Protection, A.C. (AMPPI).

With the firm since 2015, responsible for Patent analysis, review and study of applications for Patents in the Pharmaceutical-Biological area, in order to achieve the issuance of a patent in the shortest possible time and at the lowest possible cost. In addition, Mr. Cardoso is responsible for developing the specification of new Patent applications. Recently attended the on-line course "Introduction to Patent Preparation and Prosecution" by Georgia Tech.
